Baby Seat Klippan
The award winning Futura car seat was
designed to protect kids from zero to six
years old.
The seat was designed to
fit 90% of the cars on the
road in both front and rear
facing orientations.
Initial foam prototype
models were tested for fit
across a range of cars,
before the geometry was
finalized
The final production
specification for all parts
including the blow moulding
open/shut tooling and metal
tube work was completed via
toleranced 2d drawings. This
project was commissioned on a
freelance basis by Hothouse in
London for Klippan UK.
Following successful lab crash
testing results, the Futura
launched to great acclaim.
